Located 12 km south of Langres, lake Vingeanne covers an area up to 199 ha (8 000 000 m3), 175 ha on June 30 and about 110 ha to 30 September. Sized tank in the second category of public domain, it has 7.4 km of shoreline and a maximum depth of 9.70 m.
Lake Vingeanne is easily accessible from the east with the construction of ramps launching near the dam and the sailing base. It is also possible to fish from the dam is the largest of the four lakes with a length of 7.4 km of shoreline.
