Until the work of adduction in 1965, this fountain-lavoir, the only water point of the commune, was, by far, the most frequented place of the village. Everybody went down there, often several times a day, to look for water, make the animals drink, do the laundry ... what memories! In summer, when the flow of the fountain diminished, it was the long lines of the herds. Below the fountain is a reach which, before the installation of the troughs, was to serve as a watering place. The wear of its paving testifies to its antiquity. After a hard day's work, they came to pass the horses there to relax.
