The Langres area and its four lakes is a natural paradise for anglers. The Charmes and Liez lakes are well known for the size of pike and carp which can be caught there. However, if you prefer the peace of smaller trout streams you will not be disappointed by the many rivers which begin their lives on the limestone plateau around Langres, or on the sides of the Marne-Saone canal.
