The Pailly Château

The Château du Pailly is one of the most prestigious masterpieces that the Renaissance bequeathed to Champagne-Ardenne. It was built between 1563 and 1573 for Gaspard de Saulx Tavannes, companion-in-arms to King François I. Visit of the exterior, park and keep. The park of the château du Pailly is adorned with a circular lake.Eight median pathes lead to it, marking the boundary of four beds and four gardens. In the North as well as the East, the garden is surrounded by a mall of limetrees.
