Fayl-Billot is one of France's leading centres for wickerwork and the home of the only willow farming and wickerwork college in France.
Growing water willow and using it for wickerwork has been one of the main sources of employment in the Fayl-Billot area for more than three centuries. From May to September, follow the basketweavers' mascot, "Antoine", and tour the workshops open to the public. On the way, you will be able to stop here and there to watch how wickerwork articles are made and chat about the noble craft. A full list of workshops is available from the Tourist Office.
