of the Country of Langres

Lakes, Nature and Hiking

A sea of green
At the gateway to Burgundy, the Langres region is ideal for a breath of fresh air in the hustle and bustle of modern life; enjoy an intense feeling of space and freedom…

Well-known for their bitter winters, the hills around Langres (altitude - 500 m) enjoy an excellent reputation. And it’s obvious why! The world outside is bracing and invigorating, but warm and cosy by the fireside.

Summer is also a delightful time of year. When the searing sun is high in the sky, seek the cool, welcoming shade of the dark forests or relax near the fresher lakes and rivers - an unforgettable experience!

The countryside on the Langres plateau is particularly rich and diverse and of unusual ecological quality – it is the ideal place to get away from it all and relax.
