The remains of the Gallo-Roman mausoleum in Faverolles are an exceptional reminder of times past. Built in the first half of the 1st century, the mausoleum is accessed from a forest walk. All the items discovered in Faverolles are now displayed in a museum in the centre of the village. In addition to the visit, there are craft workshops for children and adults, based on everyday life in Gallo-Roman days. Audio-guides are available for visits to the mausoleum and the archaeological workshop.

Site of a gallo-roman mausoleum, with a discovery trail enabling visitors to understand the remains of the tomb in their archaeological and geological environment. Panels along the trail explain the funerary enclosure, the gallo-roman road network, the limestone quarries, and more. Unrestricted access.
