The source of the Fly can be approached during a shady and green walk, following the GR7 ® long-distance hiking trail: a guaranteed invigorating sight. Like many rivers in the Langres region, the Mouche is sufficient for a long time to animate the many mills that hilly the valley (Noidant-le-Rocheux, Vieux-Moulins...). By providing the energy necessary for the operation of the paddle wheels and gears and their machinery, the Fly helped to maintain human activity. Today, this river admirably breaks the massiveness of the Langres plateau by bringing to the landscapes an undeniable aesthetic interest coupled with a tourist interest since the construction of the Lac de la Mouche dike (the deepest and most incised of the four lakes in the Pays de Langres).
