Due to its exceptional environment, Langres has strong game potential. These resources are subject to rigorous management. Land of the green, one can come across wild boars, deer and deer, to the delight of the hunting and food lovers. The southern department is also renowned for hosting many terrestrial migratory birds (thrushes, woodcocks).
7300 hunters take their license in the department and 1000 fighters from outside regularly to hunt.
The hunter must manage nature preserve biodiversity while taking into account the sharing of space with other users of nature. Hunting is often unclear. Yet she performs basic functions: management of wildlife (counting, hunting plan, security ...), land (planting hedges) or health surveillance. This activity is not a hobby. It is much more than a sport or a passion.

Protecting nature, behave as responsible citizens, these are the requirements that must be met the hunter.

Opening offices hunters Federation of Haute-Marne. From 8:00 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.
Hunting is closed on Wednesdays.
