BATHING AT THE LAKE OF THE LIEZ Lac de la Liez 52200 PEIGNEY
Lifeguard in attendance in July-August, 11am - midday and 2pm - 6.30pm (when the flag is flying from the flagpole on the beach). Lake Liez is the largest of the 4 lakes (290 hectares at the start of the season). Its dam is 460 m long and 16 m tall. Construction work ended in 1888.
BATHING AT THE LAKE OF CHARMES Lac de Charmes 52360 CHARMES
Lifeguard in attendance in July-August, 11am - midday and 2pm - 6.30pm (when the flag is flying from the flagpole on the beach). Lake Charmes covers an area of 197 hectares and is famous for fishing. Its dike, 362 m in length and 17 m tall, was completed in 1906.
BATHING AT THE LAKE OF THE VINGEANNE Lac de la Vingeanne 52190 VILLEGUSIEN-LE-LAC
Lifeguard in attendance in July-August, 11am - midday and 2pm - 6.30pm (when the flag is flying from the flagpole on the beach). Lake Vingeanne covers an area of 199 hectares when the water level is at its highest. It is popular with birdwatchers who come here to observe the migration and lives of numerous species of bird.
